CGAP is implementing a 3-year project withthe primary objective of generating globally applicable guidance on how totailor digital financial services and investment mechanisms so that they enablethe adoption of the subset of AgTechs that best support food security outcomes.New financial and investment solutions aim to enable the scalable adoption ofthe ‘right- AgTech categories that address the unique constraints in those AVCswith the highest positive impact on food security. These solutions will beideated and piloted in 3 focus countries with local partners in differentagriculture and finance industry context, and then a cross-country analysiswill be made to generate global lessons for DFIs, Impact Investors and donorswho are interested in increasing agriculture investments that effectively leadto better food security outcomes.CGAP is recruiting a vendor to conduct a pre-assessmentfor the implementation of this CGAP project in Kenya, Tanzania, Cambodia andColombia. The objective is to determine the level of interest from publicand private sectors to partner with CGAP in testing finance and investmentsolutions that promote the adoption of select AgTech initiatives that enhancefood security in each country. Based on the conclusions of this pre-assessment,CGAP will select 3 focus countries where it will continue to deepen itscollaboration with country partners and the pursual of the project-sobjectives.
