Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Integrate Crop Management and Operational System in Colombia Integrate crop management and operational system in Colombia Carry out a technical consultancy to support the Client in identifying and implementing a technical and financially feasible business model to develop soybean crops that incorporate best management practices, climate-smart precision agriculture approaches and an integral management system for natural resources. This consultancy aims to support the Client in consolidating its current soybean-corn-sorghum crops pilot of 2,000 ha. If pilot proves successful it would lay the foundation for the Clients potential long-term crop expansion of up to 20,000 ha, own and third parties. The objective is to assess the potential to develop locally produced, sustainable, and competitive corn and soybean in Colombia. Consultants results would enable the Client to demonstrate to other players that corn and soybeans can be produced competitively and sustainably in Colombia, thereby opening the local soybean market for investment. Soybean and livestock local producers would be a key part of this Project.
