Tenders are invited for Colombia Offshore Wind Environmental Sensitivity Mapping and Recommendations for Strategic EA To carry out environmental sensitivity mapping to inform the siting of lease areas for deployment of offshore wind energy in the Colombian Caribbean and develop a roadmap for a strategic environmental assessment. This environmental sensitivity mapping assignment is focused on biodiversity attributes. It is expected to comprise a series of steps designed to identify the relevant existing secondary data (and data gaps); including spatial data; engage with key stakeholders; develop an approach to scoring biodiversity attributes; such as biotic (environments/ecosystems and species) and abiotic (marine current pattern; wind and seabed geomorphology) aspects; specific to the area; identify key data gaps and outline high-level plans that the GoC could take to address them; and to develop a grid-based sensitivity map.
